UK life

If you come to study in the UK, you will have the whole of the country on your doorstep, and a variety of exciting places to explore.

Although the UK is relatively small, this does not mean there is little variety. Far from it. It is home to over 60 million people and is made up of four countries (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales), each with a distinct history and culture.

The UK is a place of great contrasts. There are vibrant, bustling cities like London, Cardiff and Edinburgh, as well as places of dramatic scenic beauty such as the rolling downs of Southwest England, the rugged Welsh mountains and the tranquility of the Scottish Isles. There’s a lot to explore, and luckily the good transportation links will help you to make the most of your time in the UK.
